You also leave with your admin forms, client waivers and aftercare instructions, so you can intake and look after your first client properly. Your educator stays available after the program ends, so you have someone to ask when questions come up.
Eye Health and Safety in Depth
Each program includes eye health and safety training: eye anatomy, adhesive safety, sanitation and how to handle a reaction. You also learn the requirements of your local health authority, so your space and your practice pass inspection, and how to protect yourself and your clients from infections and adhesive exposure. This makes you a more confident artist and keeps your clients safe.

Programs run over several weeks, with live sessions and practice in between. Each educator sets their own schedule, so ask about start dates when you contact them.
No. These programs are designed for beginners. If you are already a lash artist and want to learn a new technique, ask the educator which program is right for you.
Expect to invest over $2,000 in your certification program, plus the cost of your lash bed, light, stool and lash-specific supplies. Your total investment to get started is usually around $4,000 to $5,000. We would question any certification program that costs under $1,500. Each educator sets their own pricing, so contact them for current rates.
No. We do not recommend any online certification class. You are working on one of the most delicate parts of the body, and mistakes can affect your client's eye health. Learn in person, where an educator can correct your technique as you work.
Yes. Every program includes eye health and safety training, including eye anatomy, adhesive safety, sanitation and how to handle a reaction.
It depends where you live. In Canada, rules differ by province and city: some require a permit or a certificate from a recognized course, others do not. In the USA, many states require an esthetician or cosmetology licence to apply lash extensions, and a few have a separate lash licence. Your educator will know the rules where you live, and we recommend asking before you book.
